Exercise is the best medicine. Our bodies were meant to move, to work, to struggle, and to adapt. With the right combination of resistance training, cardiovascular fitness, and healthy habits, life can be better. Exercise is the best known prevention - and often intervention - for everything from diabetes to depression, from neurodegenerative diseases to sarcopenia, to just about any other ailment or disease you can think of.
With a little effort, we can move well and live strong today, tomorrow, and for many years longer than society tells us is reasonable.
